    “Ondres is een plaatsje waar weinig te doen is. Ook Ondres-plage is niet heel bijzonder. Op een kwartier rijden ligt Labenne-plage. Dit is veel leuker met veel meer restaurantjes. Nog leuker zijn Cabreton en Hossegor-plage. Deze plaatsen liggen op zo'n half uur rijden van Ondres. Hossegor heeft een mooi centrum met leuke boutique winkels en restaurantjes. net buiten het dorp (Plage de la Graviere) zijn op het strand enkele leuke barretjes. Een accommodatie in de buurt van Cabreton/Hossegor is aan te bevelen.”
