Country house with private pool set in the hills between Città di Castello and Cortona. Above the pool area you enter from the valley side of the house with living room, kitchen and bathroom with shower; from the mountain side are accessed by separate entrances the 3 bedrooms (each with bath and open shower); and two galleries, one of which with double sofa bed and the other one with a single bed, each with bath and shower. Baby cot available on request. The house belongs to an agricultural farm which is located above the small village where you can also rent a small outbuilding with 3 additional beds besides your house (upon request and upon payment on the spot) and where further guests' rooms are rented. At the owner’s you can buy fresh vegetables, olive oil and honey; on request they cook for their guests local dishes (pasta of all kinds, wild boar) in the small trattoria on the grounds. The rural atmosphere is ideal for families who want to be close to nature. A small fishing lake is at guests' disposal. Ideal starting point for excursions to nearby Umbrian and Tuscan towns such as Cortona and Città di Castello (22 km), Arezzo, Perugia and Gubbio (about 50 km). 1 km S.Leo Bastia with grocery store, bar, post office; 10 km Trestina with all kinds of shops.
