Casa Ciliegi is located on the edge of an ancient olive grove, in the beautiful Valley of Fiora. The house is completely free in the area and therefore offers maximum privacy.
This old house in stone from 1920 has been renovated with love and attention for details and has a double bedroom on the upper floor and an additional sleeping place for a child next to the bedroom. On the ground floor there is a 2nd bedroom for 2 people, a bathroom and a large kitchen diner. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay and also offers 2 sleeping places on a comfortable sofa bed.
In the summer the house is nice and cool because of the thick stone walls and in the winter it is heated with a central wood stove, which heats the whole house well with radiators.
There is Wi-Fi without a password throughout the house.
Behind the house, next to the kitchen, there is a spacious terrace with barbecue and dining table, shaded by an ancient oak. There are comfortable loungers and 2 hammocks in the shade of old cherry trees.
The swimming pool is located at a distance of 400 m from the house, as well as the washing machine for shared use. In the river, a 15-minute walk away, you can take a wonderful bath in spotless water.
The surroundings of Podere di Maggio are rich in nature reserves, clean streams and fantastic scenery where you can take wonderful walks. The beautiful medieval towns in the area such as Pitigliano and Sorano are a short distance away, as well as the Etruscan excavations. The beautiful coast is an hour away, such as the Lago di Bolsena, Siena, Orvieto and Perugia.
