The San Giacomo apartments in Venice are three elegant properties in an ancient sixteenth century building in the sestiere Santa Croce, far from the crowds of tourists, immersed in a genuine Venetian atmosphere. The ideal location, quiet but just a short distance from this wonderful city’s main attractions, is one of the advantages of these apartments, all of which have an equipped outdoor area. The apartment "Terrazza", on the second floor includes a bright living room, a kitchen, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. This renovated property boasts an elegant, welcoming interior in classical Venetian style, as well as an exclusive terrace under the shade of a sweet smelling wisteria, with views over the bell tower of the church of San Giacomo dell'Orio and the delightful garden below. The property is just a short walk from the Rialto market, the Frari Church, the San Giovanni Evangelista school, the 'Ca Pesaro Modern Art Gallery, as well as the vaporetto stop on the Riva di Biasio on the Grand Canal, and many shops, bars, taverns, restaurants and the characteristic bacari, where you can taste cicheti accompanied by excellent wines.

    “Sehr gepflegte, sehr gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung in einem top-renovierten Haus. Großer, liebevoll gepflegter Garten zur Mitbenutzung sowie eine kleinere, wohnungseigene Terrasse. Sehr gute Lage in Santa Croce, zwei Gassen abseits der großen Touristenströme und daher relativ beschaulich. Authentische und sehr nette Lokale und Plätze in direkter Umgebung. Gute und freundliche Betreuung durch die Vermieterin bzw. ihre Mitarbeiterin. Für uns gab es nur zwei kleine Nachteile: Keine fix installierte Klimaanlage (nur ein Mobilgerät mit Abluftschlauch, ist unpraktisch und bei der Preisklasse nicht angemessen) sowie ein vergleichsweise lautes Lokal, das direkt an die Gartenmauer angrenzt (mit gut hörbarer Musikauswahl von Rammstein über Paolo Conte bis Frank Sinatra).”
