The gîte is ideally situated at the crossroads of the Aude with Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi and the Cathar castles, the Tarn (Mazamet/Castres) and the Haute-Garonne (Revel/Saint-Ferréol). Situated on the outskirts of a small village in the Cabardès, adjoining the owners' house, in a very quiet environment, you will enjoy many walks in the forest, the surroundings being perfectly suited to hiking and mountain biking. You are 20 minutes from the medieval city of Carcassonne, the castles of Lastours, the paper mill of Brousses and the village of Montolieu is 10 minutes away. On the ground floor: living room-kitchen (TV/TNT, hi-fi). On the first floor: 1 bedroom with 1 bed in 160 and a second bedroom with 1 bed in 90 (which can be transformed into 180 if necessary) and 2 beds in 90 superposed, a bathroom. WC. Oil-fired heating included. Heated swimming pool from mid-May to mid-September to be shared with the owner (arranged hours) 8m x 3.5m. Swimming pool opening times: 9.30am/12pm and 2pm-4.30pm. Possibility of adaptability according to your activities of the day. Games for children (trampoline, football cage...)
