The perfect location for visiting wine country
The Gaillac vineyard is one of the oldest vineyards in France and its presence is confirmed in Montans, where you will stay for your next vacation! This town near Gaillac housed a large pottery dedicated to the manufacture of amphoras used to transport wine. You can visit the archeosite of Montans, 800 meters from the cottage.
Montans is also an ideal place to reach Albi in 20 minutes by car, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Lautrec or Lavaur in about thirty minutes. Toulouse is only 45min away, Montauban less than an hour away. From the gîte, you easily reach the motorway which crosses the Tarn.
** THE COTTAGE **
Adjoining the owners' house, you can enjoy the left wing of the house. Once in the courtyard, independent entrance to access the gîte.
Cathedral living room with exposed stones and beams:
- Dining table in front of the open kitchen equipped with an oven, small top fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, filter coffee maker and ground coffee machine, toaster and kettle. Wood stove in the living room.
- Lounge area with sofa bed for additional sleeping, TV and Wifi
Still on the ground floor, in the hallway:
- Bathroom with shower, single basin, toilet and washing machine.
On the mezzanine, upstairs:
- Open bedroom with a 160x200cm double bed and a 90x190cm bed.
Exteriors: courtyard shared with the owners but the gîte has an adjoining private space, with chairs, table and plancha available.
Large unfenced garden of one hectare in front of the house allowing you to enjoy many green spaces and landscaped corners (deck chairs available).
Private parking under a shed.
