With a breathtaking view of the famous medieval city of Carcassonne from the terrace, Le Loft Cocon welcomes you to the city in a unique and pleasant setting, just a stone's throw from all amenities.

On site, you'll enjoy an exceptional location with local shops (grocery shop, restaurant, pharmacy, etc.), as well as the banks of the River Aude, where you can enjoy numerous walks and cycle rides, not forgetting the town's historic Bastide. The Cité is just 200m away, where you can stroll around the ramparts and discover all its secrets. Throughout the year, you can take part in festivities in Carcassonne (magic of Christmas, music festival, féria...). A swimming pool is less than 5 minutes' drive from the gîte for a refreshing swim. There are several must-see places to visit around Carcassonne: Lac de la Cavayère, Montagne Noire landscapes, typical villages (Montolieu, Caunes-Minervois, Lagrasse...).

The gîte has a private terrace with garden furniture, ideal for making the most of the magnificent view of one of the world's most famous monuments. Imagine for a moment during your stay, having breakfast or dinner under the Midi sun with a unique panorama. Plenty of parking is available in the street around the gîte. Its location means you're close to all the city's attractions, yet in a peaceful setting.

The loft opens onto a small hatch on the ground floor that leads directly to the 1st floor, where there is a large living room with a sitting area equipped with a sofa bed for 2 extra people and a connected TV. There is also a dining table and a fully-equipped fitted kitchen. The living room opens directly onto the terrace. On the second floor, a bedroom opening onto the living room in the form of a master suite with a 140x190cm bed and an en suite shower room with shower, washbasin and WC. Bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning included. WIFI connection. Baby equipment available on request.
