Just 20 minutes from Carcassonne, in a verdant natural setting, the gîte Chez Denise opens its doors to you in the charming village of Fraisse-Cabardès. You'll be ideally placed to discover the beautiful countryside around the Montagne Noire, with its lakes, waterfalls and breathtaking views. This is the ideal place for hiking and cycling enthusiasts!

In the area surrounding the village, less than half an hour away, you can visit the jewels of the region: the medieval town of Carcassonne, the Canal du Midi, the Brousse paper mill, the book village of Montolieu, the Cathar castles of Saissac and Lastours and the Passerelle de Mazamet.

On site, you'll have a large private outdoor area with a view over the wooded meadows. During your stay, you'll be able to relax in peace and quiet while listening to the birdsong. The private terrace is equipped with garden furniture, so you can enjoy your meals outside in the sunshine. The gîte also has a loggia with barbecue area and dining table. Parking is private and secure with a gate inside the property. A garage is available for storing your motorbikes, bicycles or sports equipment.

This single-storey gîte comprises an entrance hall, a fully equipped kitchen, a utility room with all utensils, a large living room with sofa, fireplace and TV, and a dining room. A first shower room with shower and washbasin. Separate WC. One bedroom with two single beds. A second bedroom with a single 90cm bed. A third bedroom with a 160cm bed and direct access to the second bathroom with bath and double basin. All three bedrooms open directly onto the outside area.

Sheets, towels, end-of-stay cleaning and 1/2 stere of wood extra. No smoking. Bikes available for hire (60 euros/cycle/week optional). The price of electricity does not include recharging for electric and hybrid vehicles; the price of electricity includes 8 KW/day.
