Set in an area of unspoilt countryside just a few minutes from Carcassonne and its famous medieval town, this is the ideal place to stay for a relaxing holiday in the countryside.


Its location means you can visit all the attractions of the region within easy reach: Cité de Carcassonne, Canal du Midi, Lac de la Cavayère, Limoux, famous for its blanquette and carnival, Castelnaudary, the landscapes of the Haute-Vallée de l'Aude, the unusual villages of Rennes-le-Château, Montolieu and the Cathar castles of Lastours.


From the gîte, you can explore the region on foot or by bike, as far as the Col de la Malepère with its views of the Pyrenees. Just 2km away, you'll find a wide range of shops (grocer's, mini-market, tobacconist's, baker's, butcher's, etc.). On site, the estate has 80 hectares where you can walk and recharge your batteries. A private garden with garden furniture and barbecue is located in front of the gîte, just for you. The winegrowers will be delighted to offer you a tasting of their wines.


The ground floor opens onto a private entrance hall with a living room featuring a sitting area with sofa and TV, and a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen. Upstairs, a large bedroom with a 160cm bed and a view over the garden. A separate shower room (shower, washbasin). Separate WC. A sleeping area on the large landing with a pull-out bed for up to two people. Sheets, towels and end-of-stay cleaning included. WIFI connection. Baby equipment available on request. Private car park next to the gîte.
