Welcome to "L'Horte du Pont Rouge," a charming gîte located in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by market garden fields. This family home, ideal for a restful vacation, offers all the comfort necessary for a pleasant stay.
Inside, you will find on the ground floor: an entrance; a comfortable living room for relaxing with family or friends; a fully equipped kitchen-dining room with everything needed to prepare and enjoy your meals; a bathroom with a bathtub and sink; and a separate W.C.
Upstairs: a small office area; and three large bedrooms, each with a double bed (140 cm) and built-in closets for storage.
Outside, in the front: a spacious courtyard allowing you to park your vehicles safely, a small covered shelter for your bicycles. And at the back: a terrace with a table and a barbecue, the perfect spot for outdoor meals, surrounded by a small enclosed garden for complete tranquility.
Pets are welcome, but please note that other animals also reside on the premises. Additionally, for a total disconnection and full immersion in nature, the gîte does not have WiFi.
Despite its apparent isolation, the gîte is ideally located just 2 km from a shopping area with a mall, cinema, and restaurants, offering an excellent balance between tranquility and amenities. Furthermore, the Canal du Midi is at the end of the street, offering beautiful hiking trails and a bike path for nature and outdoor enthusiasts.
The region offers many attractions to explore nearby. The medieval city of Carcassonne is a must-see, with its impressive walls and rich historical heritage. You can also visit the Cathar castles, witnesses of the region's medieval history, or taste local wines in the surrounding vineyards.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the Canal du Midi offers many activities such as hiking, biking, and even boat cruises. The Montagne Noire mountains and Mediterranean beaches are also accessible for day trips.
