Very cozy cottage with very central and yet unspoiled location on the Sognefjord. From the cottage you have a beautiful view of the fjord. The house has a nice sunny terrace, ideal for late summer evenings or morning coffee on the terrace. In Balestrand you can visit the tumuli Belehaugane, once given away by Kaiser Wilhelm II. Also visit the Sognefjord Akvarium, which shows life on the fjord. The toilet is located in its own small annex, about 15 meters from the main house. From the cottage it is 60 meters to the parking lot. From the parking lot a steep path leads to the house.

    “Nice cabin in the forest with a wonderful view of Sognefjord. The cabin is very well furnished, very warm and the bedroom are very comfortable. The WC is outside the cabin which may be annoying when weather is bad. I do recommend this accomodation to young people with no problems of mobility. In fact the access to the cabin is a steep hiking path (5 min. long) that is not easy with heavy luggage. The owners were very kind and they helped us in bringing the luggage from the car to the cabin, but the access to the cabin can be seriously problematic for elderly people.”
