There is a nice, child-friendly sandy beach in this area. Guests of these homes have free access to the large playground, to the swimming pool and to the huge terrace, from where you can enjoy a gorgeous view of the surrounding landscape. Swimming pool is open from 15th May to 1st October. On the other days you can visit the local water park in Aabenraa, where you can also stroll through the long, sloped pedestrian zone and take a look at many notable doors of homes situated in town. The town called Haderslev located nearby has a charming old town with an impressive cathedral. Also take a stroll through Haderslev Dam Park located in the town centre. You can travel further south and visit the palace of Gråsten, which is the summer residence of the Royal Family. The town of Sonderborg is located on the Island of Als in the south-western corner of Jutland and on Flensburg Fjord. This town has a lot to offer, such as a charming harbour with cafes and restaurants, Sonderborg Palace and the historical centre of Dybbol Banke (little on the outskirts of the town). Universe Adventure Park in Als is located not far from here, where you can learn about your own body and the forces of nature.
