The eastern surroundings of Salling is an incredibly beautiful and still undisturbed coastal area with quiet child-friendly beaches. Although Denmark is known for its frequent westerly winds, there are still wind shadows here along the eastern shores of Salling and the possibility to take long walks all year round. As far as the eye can see, you will experience the sparkling waters of the Limfjord and the surrounding still untouched landscape. Every now and then you can see seals, their little heads popping out of the water, curiously looking for what is happening on the beach or you can just see them sleeping on the sandbanks.
