Close to the good swimming beach of North Zealand you will find this accommodation if you want something special. The cottage is bright and nicely decorated, it is modernly equipped. Here you will relax nicely, also because you have a cozy kitchen-living room. You can be active in the playroom next to the living area. In the swimming pool there is also a whirlpool for 6. Wellness is also provided here by the sauna. Also on the terrace you will relax to the fullest in the available garden furniture. On balmy evenings it is obvious to prepare delicious meals at the grill. In the house are also 7 bedrooms and a sleeping loft for 4. Hems accessible via the game room. In the surrounding area you can walk well, whether on the heather hills of Heatherhill or in the forest of Tisvilde. In Tisvilde you will also find nice pubs. Deposit and possible final cleaning is paid in cash in the house. The electricity in this vacation home is supplied 100% from Danish windmills.

    “I cant click the houses but would give it 3!

    The summer house is really lovely and the pictures tell the true story. Both me and all the other guest really enjoyed the actual house and the area and was a good way to spend my birthday week!! The pool area and the outdoor space is great for families and the house is got so much space for everyone and loads of fun things to do.

    The only minus (unfortunately turned in to a bigger one than first anticipated) was that as we arrived a bit later than anticipated due to train delays we got hold of the key via the key box. It seemed like no problem at all at the time and the check in clerk was so helpful on the phone. When we got in we were really impressed with the premises but noticed that the place was rather dirty and when inspecting the corners and sofas closer we decided to give the place a clean before settling in as we had several kids and babies with us and we did not want them to start crawling around prior to us making sure it was cleaned properly. We found old candy in the beanbags, loads of sand and dirt inside the sofas as well as cobweb in most corners. The fridge in the bar area had mould inside which meant we decided not to use it at all as we could not get it off. I now really regret not taking pictures or calling up the check in clerk but I guess I learned an important lesson and wont make that mistake again. My understanding from the documents I had received when booking was that the house should be left the same way as received so just decided that we would do the cleaning ourselves instead of spending the 1700 Danish kroner on this as it seemed like we could do a better job than what we had just seen and all my guest volunteered to help out.

    On the day of the check out the contact person (check out clerk/different from check in clerk) came a little before 10 and as soon as he stepped in the door he had a very aggressive behaviour. He just started barking orders. He was asking everyone in the house to leave (which was a fair point but did not warrant his tone) and then he started walking from room to room barking out orders and comments. We had cleaned the house to a better standard as upon receipt the previous Saturday and I had personally checked the whole place prior to him coming : cleaned all windows, dusted, cleaned all bathrooms with vinegar and bleach, hovered, washed the floors and checked all rooms and insured all furniture was back to where it was originally placed. I had now asked my dad to get back into the house as I felt threatened by the check in clerk and really did not feel he was open to having a conversation at any point so thought better not to be alone with him. I asked him to calm down and let me know what I needed to do to rectify and improve. In one room he was focusing on the fact that a duvet was missing, in others that the duvets were not placed in the same way as upon receipt. I pointed out that we never had 18 sets to begin with to which he told me that I was incorrect and that they would have full stock at check in and I was responsible for this. after some time he said he would leave and I should call him when we had done everything he has just told. He was gone for 15 minutes when he suddenly came back with a slightly different demeanour. He said that he had now been advised that they probably had not provided 18 sets of duvets so I was no longer accused of having lost this and that we could stop the additional cleaning dictated by him earlier as he was ready to check us out now and the cleaning was fine. I am not sure what brought about his change of hearth but he at no point apologised nor explained this but just said we did not need to do anything more and that he was ready for the check out to take place. He mentioned that he expect people to choose their cleaning and you almost got the feeling that he had a financial vested interest in this such as a family member being the one responsible for the cleaning and hence them loosing out on the profit by us not choosing this service.

    When it came to the calculations of the usage he told me that we had used for 3560 DKK and I would therefore get the remaining back of my 4500 DKK I had paid as a deposit. I was really eager to leave the house and not really comfortable to ask for a break down or receipt so just said ok.
