Holiday cottage just 200m from the beach. From the living room there is direct access to a large (20 m2) uninsulated garden room with fireplace. The cottage is located by Bro Strand (or Bro Beach), a beautiful area between the beach, forest and fields. There is a small charming habour, Varbjerg Havn, where you find a restaurant with beautiful view of the sea and the surroundings. Please note, the restaurant is closed during winter. There are good fishing opportunities along the coast, in one of the areas fishing lakes (put and take) or in a rented boat. In the local area, you can among other find a public playground and petanque court. Bro Strand is located between the charming old towns Bogense and Middelfart. It is a beautiful area with several castles nearby. Odense, that offers plenty of attractions and activities, are also worth a visit. Here you can for example visit the Hans Christian Andersen museum.
