Nordstu is home to Angus cows, rabbits, chickens and ponies. The farm extends over extensive farmland. If you wish, you can help feed and care for the animals.

The municipality of Stor-Elvdal is above all a paradise for nature, hunting and fishing enthusiasts. It offers a range of leisure activities in both winter and summer. There is a disc golf course, various hiking trails, hunting opportunities, fishing in the river or in the various lakes. There is something for everyone, so you can visit Tekna Park, a nearby movie theater, a motocross track and the second largest moose statue in the world. Nature experiences are a top priority at Canyon Jutulhogget and in Rondane National Park with its viewpoint, promising you memories you will always remember. In winter, you can let off steam on the great cross-country ski trails, toboggan and ski areas and enjoy the snow.
