The "Lindenhof Bergenhausen"

We welcome you to the Lindenhof Bergenhausen in the beautiful Westerwald.

In the village of Bergenhausen, which has only 12 houses, we offer you four spacious non-smoking holiday flats for different numbers of people on our estate, which was formerly used as a farm. You are also welcome to bring your dog with you and to keep your horse on our spacious pastures or in our open stable. Bergenhausen is a district of the district town of Altenkirchen, which offers all the shopping facilities and services of a medium-sized centre. You can reach it easily in only a few minutes by car. In spite of the close proximity to Altenkirchen, Bergenhausen is very rural, surrounded by woods, meadows and the Wied. So you can set off directly from the house for a nice walk, a bicycle tour or a horse ride and enjoy the nature. By the way, Bergenhausen itself only has one access road, which ends at the end of the village. So there is no through traffic. As mentioned above, we offer 4 holiday flats, which are of different sizes and therefore also for different occupancy rates: The "Kornspeicher", the "Wäller Stube", the "Bauernkate" and the "Spatzennest".

The tack room...

...is our holiday apartment, newly built in 2022, which is particularly suitable for guests who want to spend their holidays with their own horse, but of course also for animal-loving guests who are in close proximity to our horses on the terrace paddock adjoining the tack room and open stable and which is not disturbed by a "country scent" lying in the nose. The "saddle room" is located in the 2021/22 newly built extension to the Lindenhof and has a living space of approx. 75 sqm. These extend over two floors on the ground floor and first floor. On the ground floor are the hallway and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area. Both the living room and the dining room have a direct view of the paddock and the open stable due to the large, floor-to-ceiling window and door elements there. Furthermore, both rooms lead to the terrace belonging to the "saddle room". This extends from the apartment right up to the paddock, so that you can sit right next to the horses. On the upper floor of the "tack room" there are 2 bedrooms, each with a 180 x 200 box spring bed. The windows of the two bedrooms also face the paddock and the open stable. The apartment is completed by the bathroom, tiled with travetine marble in beautiful shades of brown, with a floor-level, 150 x 125 cm shower, which is also located on the upper floor. The apartment is ideal for up to 4 people, but there is also a pull-out sofa bed in the living room, so that more than 4 people could spend the night in the apartment.
