The "Lindenhof Bergenhausen"

We welcome you to the Lindenhof Bergenhausen in the beautiful Westerwald.

In the village of Bergenhausen, which has only 12 houses, we offer you four spacious non-smoking holiday flats for different numbers of people on our estate, which was formerly used as a farm. You are also welcome to bring your dog with you and to keep your horse on our spacious pastures or in our open stable. Bergenhausen is a district of the district town of Altenkirchen, which offers all the shopping facilities and services of a medium-sized centre. You can reach it easily in only a few minutes by car. In spite of the close proximity to Altenkirchen, Bergenhausen is very rural, surrounded by woods, meadows and the Wied. So you can set off directly from the house for a nice walk, a bicycle tour or a horse ride and enjoy the nature. By the way, Bergenhausen itself only has one access road, which ends at the end of the village. So there is no through traffic. As mentioned above, we offer 4 holiday flats, which are of different sizes and therefore also for different occupancy rates: The "Kornspeicher", the "Wäller Stube", the "Bauernkate" and the "Spatzennest".

The hayloft…. Kitchen: The fully equipped and spacious kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The large cooking island in particular offers enough space for cooks, spectators, tipsters, etc. It is equipped with a large induction hob and a downdraft extractor hood. In the kitchen cupboards you will find everything you need for cooking and baking: from pots and pans to cookware and electrical appliances such as a mixer with mixing bowl, microwave, coffee maker (filter), toaster and kettle. A very spacious refrigerator and an oven complete the equipment. There is also a freezer in the storage room adjacent to the kitchen. Dining room: The dining area is openly adjacent to the kitchen area. Here you can sit on the 6 chairs at the large, solid oak table to eat, play or just chat together. The dining table can be extended to approx. 3 m if required. From the dining area you have a wonderful view of the adjacent meadows and forests as well as the open stable and the paddock for the horses through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Living room: In the living room, which is also open to the dining area, you can make yourself comfortable on the leather couch or on the armchair. From there you can comfortably watch TV, we "hid" the 107 cm TV in the large oak cabinet. A rustic half-timbered wall made of old barn beams and bricks serves as a room divider to separate the living room area from the hallway that leads to the bathroom and the two bedrooms. Bedroom: The hayloft has 2 bedrooms. In the slightly larger bedroom there is a 180 x 2 m double bed made of oak, which was reused from the demolition of an old jetty. You will definitely find enough space to store your clothes in the antique, handcrafted large oak cupboard. We have equipped the smaller bedroom with 2 single beds, each measuring 90 x 200 m. However, these can also be pushed together if required, so that a kind of double bed is also available here. Bath: The hayloft is completed by the bathroom, which is tiled with antique marble in warm colors and has a large, floor-to-ceiling shower.
