The "Lindenhof Bergenhausen"

We welcome you to the Lindenhof Bergenhausen in the beautiful Westerwald.

In the village of Bergenhausen, which has only 12 houses, we offer you four spacious non-smoking holiday flats for different numbers of people on our estate, which was formerly used as a farm. You are also welcome to bring your dog with you and to keep your horse on our spacious pastures or in our open stable. Bergenhausen is a district of the district town of Altenkirchen, which offers all the shopping facilities and services of a medium-sized centre. You can reach it easily in only a few minutes by car. In spite of the close proximity to Altenkirchen, Bergenhausen is very rural, surrounded by woods, meadows and the Wied. So you can set off directly from the house for a nice walk, a bicycle tour or a horse ride and enjoy the nature. By the way, Bergenhausen itself only has one access road, which ends at the end of the village. So there is no through traffic. As mentioned above, we offer 4 holiday flats, which are of different sizes and therefore also for different occupancy rates: The "Kornspeicher", the "Wäller Stube", the "Bauernkate" and the "Spatzennest".

The "sparrow's nest"

is located on the top floor of the "Lindenhof" right next to the "Granary" and can also be reached via the outside staircase. Until the extension was built in 2022, it was our smallest holiday apartment for 2 guests. However, thanks to the connection to the new extension, it now has more than 110 square meters of floor space, which consists of 3 bedrooms (3 double beds) and 2 bathrooms (1 bathroom with shower/toilet, 1 bathroom only toilet), the large eat-in kitchen and a Distribute storage space, ideal for larger groups up to 6 people. If necessary, another person can sleep on the pull-out sofa bed. In addition to the high-quality equipment, the guests of the "Spatzennest" can use a large balcony as a special highlight, from which they can enjoy a wonderful view over the fields and forests around Bergenhausen. You will find a lot of space in the eat-in kitchen, which offers a very generous living pleasure, especially due to the open space up to the ridge. The floor is provided with solid oak ship's floor parquet, the fitted kitchen is equipped with an electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. A dining table for 6 people and a living area with flat screen TV complete the equipment of the kitchen. In the west-facing gable end, 4 windows offer a beautiful view of the adjacent fields as well as our open stable and the paddock for the horses. The floors of the three bedrooms are covered with light antique marble travertine tiles. Each of the 3 bedrooms is equipped with a 180 cm wide beam bed made from rustic recycled wood. The bedroom in the "old building" has a double-leaf window, which is directly adjacent to the balcony, which is reserved for the use of the guests of the "Spatzennest". The other two bedrooms each have a dormer with a large, floor-to-ceiling window. The larger bathroom with shower is also quite impressive with its equipment: Here, too, tumbled antique marble, a beautiful washbasin made of natural stone and rustic built-in cupboards provide the necessary ambience. This bathroom is completed by a washing machine, so that clean laundry is also provided here for longer stays. Another bathroom, which however only has a toilet and a vanity, is located in the annex next to the two bedrooms located there.
