Two halves of a duplex house in a renovated, typical Breton farmhouse with a private terrace and a big shared garden
The duplex house is in a quiet rural location in Kermoroc’h, a small village about 30km inland from the Breton Atlantic coast and about an hour’s drive from Brest, Saint Malo and Mont Saint Michel.
The farmhouse from the year 1860 was completely renovated in 2010 and consists of two halves. The larger is for six people, the smaller is for four people. Both have a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and a bathroom, furnished and decorated in a traditional Breton style. The bedrooms in the attic have beautifully preserved roof beams. All the rooms have electric radiators. Free wireless Internet access is available.
The duplex house is on an enclosed plot of land of around 1500m² with a big garden that has a picnic table, a swing, a grill and a boules area. Each half of the house has its own private terrace with garden furniture and deckchairs. Guests also have access to a seasonal fruit and vegetable garden.
The owner provides bicycles for use free of charge. The beds are already made on arrival. Cleaning and washing up products are provided. Baby equipment can be provided if required. The owner is a certified hiking guide and is happy to provide information and maps, as well as personal advice for hikes or cycle tours. There are four parking spaces shared by both halves of the house. For stays of a week and longer, guests are greeted with a welcome snack.
The duplex house is an ideal starting point for exploring the Cotes d’Armor. It is about 30km from the most beautiful places on the Cotes d’Armor, such as Perros Guirrec and the Cote de Granit Rose, the Cote Sauvage by Treguier and Plougrescant, Paimpol and the Ile de Brehat. The Oceanopolis in Brest, Saint Malo and Mont Saint Michel are an hour’s drive away. Hiking and cycling enthusiasts will also enjoy it here.

The 90m² holiday house in a Breton style is suitable for six people. The ground floor has a 50m² living room with a fireplace oven (firewood is provided by the owner in winter) and an original Breton canopy bed, as well as a big dining table with six chairs, a sitting area with TV (digital channels), a DVD player, a stereo system and an open kitchen, which is fully-equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and washing machine. The first floor has three bedrooms, two with a double bed (140 x 190cm), one with two single beds (90 x 190cm). The bathroom with a shower and WC is also on the first floor and there is an additional toilet on the ground floor. The rooms afford a lovely view out over the garden and the surrounding fields.
