This house is located in the quiet village of Pfaffenheim, in the heart of Alsace, around 13 km south of the charming town of Colmar. This city - with half-timbered houses dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries and the famous Musée Unterlinden - is sometimes called "Little Venice". It is situated on the "Route des Vins d'Alsace". The opportunity to taste the delicious Gewürztraminer and Riesling wine, the hiking routes through the vast forests and vineyards and the rural tranquillity make Alsace a popular holiday destination. The house is close to the "Parc Naturel Régional des Ballons des Vosges" where you can go hiking, cycling and fishing surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. You can also take part in various water sports on the lake of Gérardmer. The terraced house is located on a square in the heart of this small village. The building belonged to a family of winemakers in the 18th century. During the renovation some of the original details, such as the old wooden beams, were retained. The house has two double beds, one of which is 1.40 metres long. The small, glass fronted terrace is accessible via 4 steps. This traditional house is well furnished. The house is located on an enclosed garden, which also serves as a parking lot. It can be accessed from outside via a staircase of 19 steps.
