You will experience the renowned hospitality and serenity of the Bulgarians and discover original villages, lively cities such as the capital Sofia and a lot of cultural highlights in the famous monasteries. Although the almost 400 kilometre long coast is the flagship of the country and by far its most important tourist region, you can just as well find high mountains (even skiing slopes), lush forests and lonesome mountain lakes. Many of these areas are hardly developed and just wait to be discovered. On the other hand the touristic infrastructure along the Black Sea Coast is very well developed. Similar to the Mediterranean hotels, restaurants and bars string together. During the day many types of water and beach sports are offered, at night some places turn into party zones. The most comfortable way to travel to your holiday apartment or home in Bulgaria is by plane. Sofia is serviced from almost all German airports directly. The places at the Black Sea Coast can be reached by the airports Varna and Burgas. An alternative for undaunted guests from Southern Germany might be travelling by car via Vienna, Budapest, Belgrade, Nis and Sofia. Distance Munich – Sofia: around 1,400 kilometres.
