“Het huis ligt aan de doorgaande weg van het dorpje Gaggi naar Francaville niet echt in het plaatsje Motta Camastra zelf (dat ligt hoger op een berg). Vlakbij en beloopbaar (ca. 300m1) is het Alcantara park met de alcantara Gole rivier. Dit is zeker een bezoek waard! Dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt / bakker is in Francaville op ca. 3km afstand. Leuke en goede restaurants zijn er in de nabijheid voldoende maar alles moet wel met de auto worden gedaan. Zandstrand is op 15km (ca. 25min rijden) en de mooie toeristische plaats Taormina ligt op ca. 20km van het huis. Noordkant van de Etna ligt op ca. 20km. (45 min rijden). Het huis ligt in een mooie omgeving met enkele echt Siciliaanse dorpjes dichtbij. Zonder auto kun je er echter niets.”

“Voor boodschappen heb je wel een auto nodig en wij hebben ook niet veel bezienswaardigheden gezien in Motta Camastra zelf. Wel vonden we het dorpje zelf (op de berg) erg mooi!”
